bioStrategies’ Matt Kowal to give PMRG Webinar on Tuesday, October 6th

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Chicago, IL — September 23, 2009

Matt Kowal, Associate Principal at bioStrategies will present a 60-minute webinar for the PMRG on October 6th, 2009.

This webinar is aimed at showing the pharmaceutical market researcher how to design segmentation studies to better inform product positioning and targeting initiatives downstream in the strategic marketing process. The specific goals of this webinar are to:

•Review how segmentation informs marketing and sales strategy development

•Review how one can maximize qual and quant research with multivariate techniques such as conjoint and latent class cluster analyses to develop more insightful, meaningful and actionable segmentations

•Review a list of ‘best practices’ for market segmentation

•Learn how to design segmentation studies to drive more effective positioning and targeting strategies

The webinar is not a ‘segmentation 101’ course. It is designed under the assumption that the audience will have done at least one market segmentation study or is familiar with the fundamental process of segmentation. The focus of the webinar will be to review three case studies that illustrate good techniques and show how segmentation, positioning and targeting can be more closely integrated.

Webinar attendees should walk away from this presentation being able to write RFPs that lead to superior results when conducting their next segmentation study.
